Items Needed For Family Shelter
The Caring Neighbors dry goods program of the York County Shelter Programs at Jagger Mills in South Sanford is now closed. Although the Shelter is unable to take large donations, they are in need of some smaller items at this point in time.
The donation of new sweatshirts and sweatpants (especially large and extra large sizes) is always needed, as well as new socks and underwear for both men and women.
Please note that, due to a lack of storage space, only donations in good condition are being accepted until the needs for these items are fulfilled. Unfortunately, the donation of the items has to be arranged to be dropped off since there is no means for the Shelter to pick them up. Please call Joan or Mary at 324-1137 to help with the time of drop-off of the twin beds or other items. Thanks for your understanding.
