Come Out for York County Shelters!

The gods must be with us!  The world did not end, the rain stayed away, and many determined, enthusiastic Democrats came out to run or walk in the York County!  Thank you, Roger Hansen, Carol Lane, Ed Legg, and Laura Phinney, for staffing the water table and assisting in directing the runners and walkers in the final stretch.  Our local Democrats who ran or walked were Marie Ali Hassan, Dick Barnes, Stu Bowen, Ann Marie Briggs, Diane Denk, Eva Downs and her daughter, Penny Gruen, Joe Hanslip, David and Kathy Hardwick, Katarina Huene, Bob and Pixie Lown, Tom McClain, and Ted Trainer.  Both Ann Marie and Ted received medals in their age group for running.  Congratulations to all of you and especially to the Kennebunk and Kennebunkport Democrats for raising over $3500 which permitted us to sponsor this event.  Please note the top of the t-shirt with our prancing donkey and town committee sign!
