York County Shelter Programs, Inc. was incorporated in 1979 as a private non-profit corporation in the State of Maine.  York County Shelter Programs, Inc. is exempt from federal income tax under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code.  (FED I.D. 01-0361089)

Contributions of goods, services, and cash are tax deductible for income tax purposes.

York County Shelter Programs Inc. is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors who are representative of the community and who serve without any compensation.
