Free Meals Kitchen

The York County Shelter Program operates a

Free Meals Kitchen each weekday.  A free lunch is served at noon at the Masonic Temple on Elm Street in Sanford (behind Goodall Library and across the street from the Elks Lodge) on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  A free lunch is served at noon at the Springvale First Baptist Church on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Many volunteers have dedicated their time and efforts to this program.  All are welcome.  For additional information, please call 207-324-8811.

In the fiscal year of 2007, there were 11,011

meals served at the Sanford Meals Kitchen and 2,909 meals served at the Springvale Meals Kitchen.
