Caring Neighbors
Mary Nobert was instrumental in the establishment of the Caring Neighbors Program and York County Shelter Programs is very
grateful for her efforts and dedication.
Jagger Mill was the home of Caring Neighbors which offered free clothing, furniture, and household items to those in need.
It is presently closed. The Board of Directors of York County Shelter Programs is considering looking into a plan to
sell the building.
Carol Rackliff managed Jagger Mills Caring Neighbors Program. The York County Shelter Programs thanks her for her efforts and dedication over the past several years.
The Caring Neighbors Program of Jagger Mills is presently closed. The Board of Directors of the York County Shelter Programs has considered looking into developing a plan to sell the building because of the costs of energy. There also is less need for this kind of storage
space because the Shelter has storage options in several of their
housing properties.
YCSPI would use the funds from the sale of the building towards developing more housing. For further details, please contact Donald Gean, Executive Director
of YCSPI at 324-1137.
